This public lecture series, geared for scientific audiences, is held during the academic fall and spring semesters.

The Stowers Institute hosts conferences and symposia that encompass an array of research topics. The goal of these events is to bring together eminent scientists from all over the world and provide them an opportunity to explore scientifically challenging ideas. Translational Research Seminar Series

The Translational Research Series highlights research from Kansas City area institutions. These seminars are intended to provide an avenue for meaningful discussions and collaborations that move foundational science discoveries into practice more quickly and efficiently for the benefit of human health. Held during the academic year, the seminars are co-organized and attended by researchers from the Stowers Institute, Children’s Mercy, the University of Kansas Medical Center, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
