Why did you choose to attend Stowers Graduate School?

I chose Stowers because of the potential the Graduate School had (and has demonstrated!). The faculty, the admin people, the facilities, all were ready to make it possible for us to thrive.

Resources and possibilities. The school will provide you with everything you need in order to focus on science.

Where are you now in your career path and how did Stowers Graduate School prepare you to get there?

I am a Postdoc in the laboratory of Prof. Alex Schier at the Biozentrum of the University of Basel. This was made possible by all the opportunities that the Stowers Institute and its Graduate School provided throughout my Ph.D. I got to meet a lot of people at all stages of their career, which enriched my view of the world and, ultimately, allowed me to be prepared for a postdoc.
