In graduate school, my work focused on using circulating tumor cells to monitor response to cancer treatment in pancreatic cancer patients using microfluidic technologies. I also did work on developing a combined IF-FISH method for leukemia cells. I am now interested in exploring the relationship between sensory deprivation, psychiatric manifestations, and the gut-brain axis in an effort to improve mental health treatment efficacy.
