Stowers Resource Management (SRM), which is organized as an IRC Section 501(c)(3) public charity and classified as a supporting organization under Section 509(a)(3), is the support services organization for the Stowers Institute and the other operating and non-operating nonprofit organizations in the Stowers Group of Companies. In that role, SRM provides:
Strategic management services by determining and guiding overall group strategy, including through its centralized board committees, including executive, audit, compensation and governance, and its senior executives
Essential corporate functions, including finance, legal, accounting, communications, grants administration, HR, IT, procurement and investment management
In light of the important role of SRM, its board of directors includes independent community and industry leaders with experience in tax-exempt governance, investment management, financial literacy and executive compensation.
