This workshop provides planarian researchers with hands-on experiences to implement our recent developed techniques for transgene expression in planarian cells and live animals.
The Stowers Institute hosts conferences and symposia that encompass an array of research topics. The goal of these events is to bring together eminent scientists from all over the world and provide them an opportunity to explore scientifically challenging ideas. These events are often the catalysts for collaborations that result in significant scientific findings.
BIG IDEAS @ScienceStowers is a lecture series that explores how science informs and inspires our communities. It aims to bring cutting-edge and provocative scientific ideas in an engaging and accessible way to the greater Kansas City community. The series is designed to inspire a thirst for scientific knowledge and illustrate the roles that scientific discoveries play in our lives and communities.
This ongoing seminar series explores topics in many areas of research through scientifically technical presentations by distinguished researchers from institutions across the country and around the world. This public lecture series, geared for scientific audiences, is held during the academic fall and spring semesters.
The Wednesday Lecture Series is supported by a generous grant from the Stowers Foundation.
