Jim & Virginia Stowers
Founders Jim and Virginia Stowers stand before the Institute as it was taking shape. Today, that vision has grown into a thriving campus dedicated to bold, fearless scientific discovery and training the next generation of scientists.
The Auditorium
With seating for 200, the auditorium is the stage for much of our scientific dialogue. From weekly seminars and Friday Science Club to public lectures like our Big Ideas series, it provides a space where researchers, students, and the community share in the excitement of discovery.
The Fountain
The fountain has become an iconic symbol of the Institute, greeting guests and members as they arrive each day. A favorite landmark for photos and outdoor events, it represents the welcoming spirit of the Institute and has been a backdrop to 25 years of milestones and memories.
The Gallery
The gallery is one of the most dynamic spaces on campus, filled with natural light and open design. It serves as a central hub for poster sessions during research conferences, community celebrations, and informal gatherings where ideas and collaborations take root.
The Library
The library is both a quiet retreat and a powerful research tool. Stocked with an extensive collection of scientific journals, books, and digital resources, it supports the daily work of investigators and trainees while offering a collaborative environment for study, discussion, and reflection.
